ZAMine Service Brasil - New Joint Venture from Hitachi Construction Machinery and Marubeni Corporation

ZAMine Service Brasil Limitada officially began operations in March 2025. The new company was established through a joint venture between Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Marubeni Corporation, with the purpose of delivery high-quality solutions and contributing to the long-term growth of Brazil’s mining industry.
ZAMine Brasil is now responsible for the sales and service of Hitachi’s hydraulic excavators and rigid dump trucks, supporting mining companies and contractors across the country. The operation is fully controlled by ZAMine Latam Holdings (ZAMHo), a Japan-based special purpose company jointly owned by Hitachi Construction Machinery and Marubeni Corporation.
Background and Scope
Since 2017, Marubeni Brasil S.A. has served as the official distributor of Hitachi’s mining equipment in Brazil, providing sales and maintenance services to key clients in the sector. With the launch of ZAMine Brasil, these operations are now integrated into a dedicated structure focused on expanding both technical and commercial capabilities nationwide.
